"Gyoridaek" was named when Lee Gwisang who was a descendant of the founder Lee Seokgu, served as Hongmungwan which was the most clean government post of all. If you follow the natural slope to the house, you’ll be able to see the elegant and dignified feature of the house. This place is known to be established in 1760.

This is the place where Jubu, Lee Seokmun who was the guard officer of the Crown prince used to live.
When the crown prince was killed in 1774(The 50th year of King Yeongjo, Joseon Dynasty), Lee Seokmun built this place northward to show his royalty to the prince and lived here for the rest of his life.

This structure shows the characteristics of the high official’s housing very well. The date of establishment
is close to accurate and this house provides an important information on the chronicle of Korean Housing.

This was established by Lee mingeom in 1767(4th year, King Yeongjo) and was remodeled by a Sung Confucian Scholar Hanju Lee Jinsang in 1866. The elegant feature of the house has been well preserved
and this place is a popular site for TV dramas. The old pine tree around the house is very impressive.

This place was established by Lee Junhui in approximately 1900. The household shrine was rebuilt around 1930’s and the outer house was extended around 1940’s.

And although this place was built in the 20th century, the working area is in straight shape, and the other rooms have the shape with the reception room built independently. This house was built following the traditional housing style.

This house is where the descendants of Seongju Lee family Jeongeongong-pa lived. And when Gyori-deak which is the one of the oldest housing in the area was built around 1960’s, this house is believed to be built around 1748~1825 for Jujin or 1810~1879 for Munsang. This house was called "Yean-deak" as Munsang’s wife was from Yean. .
